The event fee for Wyvern Rising costs $50.00 for the weekend. The first event for new players is free.
- If you arrive on Saturday prior to 12 PM, your event cost will be $50.00, you will receive full build for the event, and you will be obligated to take a 3-hour NPC shift to earn your build.
- If you arrive on Saturday after 12PM, your event cost is $25.00, you will receive half build for the event, and you are obligated to take a 3-hour NPC shift to earn your build.
Annual membership fees are $5.00 and are paid on the expiration of your membership card. For new players, this is applicable at your second event, as your first event is free.
Meal cards can be purchased to use in-game to order hamburgers, corn dogs, and/or chicken patties from the kitchen for $1.00 each.
You accrue 3 earned Build per event as a full PC (Player Character) with opportunities for Role-playing Points and Service Points, which transfer to Build every 100 points. You can transfer a maximum of 200 Service Points per event.
Furthermore, you earn full Build every event you full-time NPC (Non-Player Character), with opportunities for Role-playing Points and Service Points, which transfer to Build every 100 points. You can transfer a maximum of 200 Service Points per event.
To earn your Build as a PC:
You must have your card stamped as ‘Paid’ upon payment received, complete your chosen NPC shift, and complete your assigned cleanup duty. You will need to get your card signed off on by a Staff Member, Marshal, or Director once your duty is completed prior to leaving camp.
To earn your Build as an NPC:
You must assist the Wyvern Rising staff throughout the weekend by playing certain roles (Monster, Damsel, Villain, Merchant, etc.) and by also being available for individual job duties such as mod-site setup and tear down. Prior to leaving camp, you will be required to complete your assigned cleanup duty and have it notated by a Staff Member, Marshal, or Director that you have completed the assigned task.
Service Points, or SP, are used to gain additional Build for your character at the game. Normally, a player may convert 200 SP per event they attend. SP can be gained in various ways: donating items that are needed as found on the donation list, donating money, or donating your time to help the game.
Sometimes news will be posted upon the Wyvern LLC’s social media calling for help with boffer weapon construction/repair, or other special events.
The following is a list of items that Wyvern Rising could use and will accept as donations for an exchange of Service Points. Before you consider purchasing anything off this list, please contact staff, so we can advise on quantity needed, as we have limited storage space. Please check back in the future, as this list will change based on our current needs.
We are so very thankful for donations, they help keep the game running. Thank you for considering donating to Wyvern Rising!
